We’re thrilled to share with you one of our recent projects, a beautiful and functional outbuilding that we designed and built for a client who wanted to create a dedicated gym space in their garden.
Our client approached us with a desire to create a gym space in their garden, but without a specific design or vision in mind. We worked closely with them to understand their needs and preferences, and together we created a unique and personalized design for the outbuilding.
The outbuilding is nestled in a drop in the garden, which required excavation of the soil to create a level area for the building. To prevent soil erosion and collapse of the higher ground level, we built a beautiful wooden retaining wall around the outbuilding. This retaining wall not only provides necessary structural support but also adds to the overall aesthetic of the garden and outbuilding.
The retaining wall is made from high-quality wood and has a unique design that complements the style of the outbuilding. It features integrated lighting that gives a warm and inviting glow to the space during the evening.
Around the outbuilding, we laid a spacious patio area using beautiful patio slabs that complement the design of the outbuilding. This area provides the perfect space for outdoor workouts or relaxing in the sun.
One of the most notable features of this outbuilding is the beautiful wooden steps that lead up to the entrance, which also have the same patio slabs that we used for the patio area. These steps were custom-designed to match the aesthetic of the retaining wall and provide a safe and inviting way to enter the space.
Inside the outbuilding, you’ll find a spacious and fully-equipped gym area, complete with all the equipment needed for a full workout. The space is bright and airy, with large windows that offer beautiful views of the garden outside.
